Summary of weekend

Let me start with my day from Friday 3 pm. Attended this seminar hosted by a photochemical maker TOK (Tokyo Ohga Korgyu) and were treated to a great meal at Grand Hyatt. Learnt quite a bit on the coming technologies that are to hit the semiconductor world.

At night, we adjourned to the chalet session organised by the module director. So all 4 sections under him attended. Was a really good session that we could get drunk and trash a year's long worth of frustration at anybody we wanted. My boss went bonkers within the first ten minutes. I was there earlier and I was playing the guitar and sang songs along with my buddies. Was pretty rowdy coz over 40 ppl were there.

I got quite high too but wasn't to the extend of drunk. By around 12 pm, half the ppl were already hitting the grass, or the sack. My boss? Yeah, on a couch in the garden puking all the XO, JD, Vodka, Chivas, Tequila... I surrendered at 3 am and went upstairs (to my surprise the room was not occupied at all).. Next morning, there were 8 of us left... including my boss... And we all had to clean up the unbelievable amount of mess in the house and outside. Went back home and slept for a few hours.

At night, went out with an old friend to celebrate her belated birthday. Wanted to eat soupy stuff so she drove us to East Coast. Damn the hawker center was crowded and we shared a table with this kind couple. It was quite awkward though... Anyway, after that we decided to take a walk to the jetty, and then sat down and talk. Pretty much we tried to fill in the gaps of void that we had lost touch within the 9 years of knowing each other... Came close several times to going after her, but fate had it otherwise. Now, she is one friend I treasure very much, even never can see much of each other coz she is very busy.

After a good hour's talk at the jetty watching people fishing, rollerblading, strolling, we headed to the airport for some good ol Coffee Bean... Guess who drove? HAHA.... and guess who drove me home? 2nd time driving in Singapore...

Today.... had so much laundry to fold and iron... it took me almost 2 hours... Then went to workplace to collect my sax and head for class. On my way outta the company, the security personnel invited me to join the choir at a central catholic church... I tolk him me a beginner and my playing sucked... But he sincerely encouraged me still.. Nevertheless we left it as it is coz the cabbie was outside waiting. It's worth a ponder, but choiring requires commitment.. that.. is something I may have a problem with...

Ok, that sums up my weekend. Am learning how to survive my weekends without having to feel bored. Thinking of taking up drum lessons. Shall I? Think it is quite interesting yearh? I am really hungry. Have to wake up in a few hours and go to work.. Wish me luck tmr can be a peaceful day without much issues at work. Grrrrrr grrrr ++ YAWWWWN.

Back!

Howdy folks! I am back and have been deprived from internet for the longest time since the past few years. So I will be back online for those who have been seeing that same old shit since May.

Just got back from Taiwan and had a lot of good food there. Not to mention the chicks there are hot too. PLUS... the chicken cutlets there are real HUUUUGE. Can serve me 2 meals and it cost SGD2!

Went to TW with the Beast, Chin Lam and NingNing. This was the place we visited on the first day. Can't remember the name of the place already but it was on a mountain and there were shops lining both sides the stairs on the way up. Something like the Kek Lok Si in Penang. I love this building!

This was kinda the main square area, or most popular shopping strip. Yes their shopping places are almost endless.

This is inside Taipei 101

FOOD! LOVE the FOOD!

There I finally published the photos that took me 2.5 years to collate.
